Special Treat

Donna,

I finished your book.  You have done a very good thing for me.  I love the images you create as you go into the scriptures, especially about the ones who would not miss their opportunities to sit at the feet of our Lord Jesus.  You paint vivid pictures that make it easy to imagine those precious moments; their moments of their visitations.  I remember a Harvest Conference at MorningStar.  Don Potter was singing “I want To See Your Face”.  I vividly remember saying that from my heart, to the Lord, as we sang it.  In my spirit, the Lord replied, “Look around you, and behold My face.”  As I looked into the faces of those worshiping around me, they took on a beautiful, heavenly glow.  That was a special treat!  I tell the Lord often, that I want to see His face.  And have added, “just let me cry for a while at Your feet, first”.  I can’t wait for Him to let me fall at His feet! 

Your style is a soft and feminine (not effeminate) weaving of poetic insight into the heart of Jesus.  That is new to me in my readings about Jesus.  I am glad to have this new perspective.  I also really appreciate being reminded that we see His glory in His creation, all around us, everywhere we look, especially if you live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, as I do. 

Thank you so much for writing “At His Feet”.  This was another special treat from Jesus for me.
