“God is always unfolding New Things, ever writing upon our hearts, if we will let Him...the wonders of His Kingdom!”
About
Donna has had a passion for writing since her early teen years. She would often wander out in the early morning hours and sit under the stars, journaling her heart’s feelings as she waited for dawn’s approaching light. The dawn has always been a special time for her; it is the declaration of a new day, filled with wonder, excitement, and the adventures of His Kingdom on earth.
Poetry is one of her mediums of creativity – painting with words – what the eyes of her heart see. Seeking to bring alive to others, what the God of all creation speaks to her soul and spirit. Gardening is another mode of creating – painting with flowers – the beauty realms of heaven on earth and releasing the fragrances that soothe man’s soul and spirit.
A good portion of Donna’s writing is from her encounters with the Lord in her early morning devotions. Many of her other writings flow from moments by the ocean, her favorite place to be. The sea beckons to her spirit and here she hears His Voice whisper across the waves, wooing her heart to His.
Donna is avid sailor; she thrills at the adventures of the wind in her face, the smell of salt air, the sighting of sea birds, dolphins, seals, and jumping fish. The clouds and the sea speak to her of His Majesty! Glorious sunsets painted in the sky by the Master Artist – cause her to stand still – awestruck at the beauty of His majestic display of heaven’s colors on earth.
She has always loved animals and has an English Labrador retriever and two Maine Coon cats.
You will often find Donna walking by the shore, in a nearby wooded park, or the quaint streets of Cape Ann. This is her time to pray, to worship, and to have heart to heart conversations with the Holy Three.
She is a worshiper and a warrior. Percussion and rhythm have always been part of her creative calling. She plays djembe drum and loves to sing prophetic songs of the Lord. She is also a prophetic dancer, and seeks through movement to release the rhythm of the Lion of Judah and the heavenly realms. She is a revelatory teacher, always seeking to explore the heights and depths of His Word, seeking to bring forth understanding of the mysteries of His Kingdom.
She is an apostolic leader, founder of Eagle & Dove Ministries, and Judah’s Roar Apostolic Center. She has devoted her life to raising up a Galatians 2:20 radical, sold out army for the Lord. She believes that we are called to live in covenant and community, walking together in rhythm with the heartbeat of the love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
“My old life was crucified with Christ and no longer lives; for I was fully united with Him in His death. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for Christ lives His life through me! My real life is Christ – we live as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that He gave Himself for me, and dispenses His life into mine!” Galatians 2:20 (PT)
She is also Native American/First Nations and seeks to walk in covenant with God, and His people, to bring restoration and reconciliation to her people and this land. She is called as a spiritual gatekeeper to the island of Cape Ann, where she lives to pray, to worship and decree, and to believe for God’s Awakening at this eastern gate of this nation.
