"He is the Word ever writing upon our hearts and minds! He writes new revelation and wonders of who He is on willing hearts!"

June Update

Dear Friends,

The Christian life is meant to be an adventure – to be lived fully in every way! God calls us to pioneer new horizons – natural and spiritual. Our Christian walk was never meant to be boring.  He invites us to explore the wide open planes of His Kingdom and seek the thin places with Him – both in the spirit and in specific lands He calls us to.

Thus began my journey – I was born with the heart of a pioneer; with a call to blaze a new way.  God brought me into a three year journey of studying Celtic Christianity and learning to live in a place of deep intimacy with Him. Still today, an ever expanding journey.  He called me on a personal  pilgrimage to meet with Him in Scotland – Iona – Hebrides Islands.  Here I encountered Him in fresh and new ways.

These are places with spiritual portals/access to God – thin places – where those who had gone before me, Columba, Aidan, Cuthbert and other precious men and women of God had pioneered the spirit realm with holy worship and fiery devotion.

There, God placed within my heart a fiery blaze for this region; to walk in and experience these realms, this lifestyle – this prophetic journey; and to see an awakening of this region. A call to pray and believe, to have our eyes opened – to truly see Him and His Kingdom in greater depths, and  holy encounters with our Living God!

As men and women we can set borders and boundaries around our lives, our hearts and our Christian walks and experiences of and with Him. The Lord drew the boundaries of the seas and lands with His Mighty Finger; and yet, He invites us to step past our securities, ideas and safe places and our borders and step into the reality of “In Him we live and move and have our being”. Oh, that this would BECOME a reality every moment of every day in our lives.

Today, may our eyes be touched afresh as the Celtic Church would daily pray. They understood Creation pointed to their Heavenly Creator.  They saw creation as a way to commune with the Holy Three – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  They lived their lives in a flow of seeing, listening, and constant communion with their Maker.

God didn’t create this world and walk away, but reveals Himself to man – a God who is ablaze and invites us into His Blazing Heart – to walk intimately with no compartments! May we cry out to regain a fresh sense of wonder, reverence, and awe!!  And, walk in the wonder and awe of God and all He created!

“He encompasses us on all sides, like the world itself. What prevents us from enfolding Him in our arms, only one thing, our inability to SEE Him”  (David Adam)
Celtic Christians did not seek to separate things in their world, but to align and bring them into unity. When they said, “Be Thou My Vision O Lord,” they were asking to reach beyond what the natural eye could see – horizons and stars – to see the Creator Himself – to see the very center of everything!

“Open my eyes that I may see the WONDER all around me” (David Adam)
Where there is no vision the people perish.

I feel our vision is far deeper than what our call is, our church or ministry. It is the vision of the Holy Three, and to ever live within this reality of their tangible Presence – drawing near….will we be aware and step in. It comes softly, gently – a cloud appears. Will we see? Will we step in?
