BREATHE OUT – BREATHE IN

Jesus breathed out – exhaled
Forgiveness to His persecutors
the ones who tried Him, killed Him, abandoned Him,
denied Him
He breathed out love and released a standard for all of time –
THE CROSS – TOTAL FORGIVENESS
the test of true love
whether you ever hear the words “I’m sorry”
He never did, hanging on Calvary
whether things are ever made right this side of eternity or not
His love IN US breathes out
‘Father forgive them for they know not what they do”
Breathe out the poison of bitterness
Breathe in Heaven’s atmosphere of mercy
Breathe out revenge
Breathe in God’s justice against injustices
Breathe out false accusations
Your accusers may not know the truth – but God does, so
Breathe in His delight, acceptance and His truth
Breathe out anger and breathe in PEACE!
